Big Block Smart Car Anyone?
A full 9 liters of Chevy Big Block somehow got stuck in the front of this minuscule Smart Car. Why? Who knows? But we have no doubt that this thing is awesome.
Built by Mark Cryer and dubbed the “Nu Big Thing” this little smart car has a 725 horsepower Chevy big block stuck in the front of it. Besides doing massive wheel stands and blowing the doors off pretty much everything it comes up against, this little Smart Chevy runs the quarter mile in just 10.26 seconds a 130 mph.
While that may not be that impressive, Mark isn’t done messing around with the dynamics of the Frankensteins monster he’s created. By the end of the year, he hopes to have it deep in the 9 second range which is frankly a bit terrifying.
Just listen to that massive engine screaming out of this tiny little car. It’s just flat out amazing.
