Camaro Brings Color to Track Day: Track Time Tuesday Presented by Yokohama Tire’s ADVAN APEX

YouTuber’s Camaro flexes new suspension and 19-inch wheels around Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit, leaving all in the dust.

The Camaro is an excellent platform to build your dreams. Some lead to a quarter-mile slayer, dominating the strip and all it holds. Other roads, however, lead to the highway, where excitement waits along every mile. And, of course, a few paths coalesce upon the coveted track day, where skill makes all the difference.

One such Camaro from the start of the New ’10s experienced such a day at the track recently. YouTuber Samuele Nocentini upgraded his ride’s suspension, and decided the Camaro needed to flex its agility at Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit in Duncan, British Columbia.

“We’re back on Vancouver Island,” said Nocentini. “This my Camaro, for those that don’t know. We are going to take it at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit. There’s an open lapping event, a full day of ripping this thing around.”

Nocentini says the Camaro received a whole new Koni Orange suspension with lowering springs, plus a set of 19-inch wheels. Breathing is done through a cold-air intake, exhaling via muffler-delete. Thus, the Camaro’s ready to rock the evergreens miles away from the Canadian/United States border.

“We just got to the track,” said Nocentini. “It’s actually a perfect day. It’s not too hot. We filled up a full tank of premium […] Not a huge group. I think 11 people today.”

The Camaro received some handy marks on its tires following alignment. The white marks allow Nocentini to see “where the tire has grip.” Thus, all the better to determine inflation or deflation is in order.

“We just finished the morning session,” said Nocentini. “We got a lot of laps in […] We’re actually checking for the tire pressures here. It’s pretty much on spot where we want it.”

Following lunch, Nocentini and Instagrammer Nicky Nonis hopped back in for the afternoon session. Nonis felt everything the Camaro had to give, the experience reminding him of “a roller coaster.” All in all, a great day at the track with one bitchin’ Camaro.
