Way back in the second installment of the Fast and Furious franchise there was a race scene between a 1970 Dodge Challenger and a 1969 Yenko Camaro. And as far as this movie franchise goes it was one of their more realistic races. Under the hood of the Camaro was a 425 horsepower L-72 427.
It was connected to a Muncie M-21 four-speed transmission. Most of the cars in these movies are highly modified and look nothing like the real thing. And this Yenko may not have been a perfect match but it was darn close and looked amazing.
