Chevy Is Offering a Camaro Discount to Mustang Owners. Seriously.

Camaro Mustang Offer

Chevy releases special offers for 2019 Camaros, the best one offering a $2,500 cash allowance for current Ford Mustang owners.

The classic Camaro versus Mustang argument has raged on since, well, since the Camaro came out back in 1967. It’s always fun to watch disputes between companies, no matter which side you stand one. These days though, Chevy isn’t playing around. They want you, Mustang owners, and they are not subtle about it at all.

Straight from the Chevy website comes news of the offer. No dancing around it, no sugarcoating it. It’s even in all caps and boldface lettering!

“For Current Ford Mustang Owners, $2,500 Total Cash Allowance.” According to the site, you also qualify if you are currently leasing a Mustang.

Alongside the Mustang offer comes a lease offer as low as $399 per month, a $1,500 total cash allowance for non-Mustang owners, and $500 customer cash should you choose to go the Convertible route.

Comparatively, a ZL1 1LE Camaro has more power output than a 2019 Mustang GT350. On the cheaper side of things, a Camaro SS and Mustang GT from 2019 have just a difference of 5 horsepower, with the advantage going to the Mustang in that front. Both cars are extremely capable and take to modifications quite well, so realistically it all boils down to what you’d prefer to be driving.

The endless videos, articles, and drunk arguments about which is better will never cease. The simple fact of the matter is that we will never truly have an answer. If one has the other beat in category A, the adverse argument will be brought up for category B. It’s a never-ending cycle of preferences, and in most cases, you will never be able to convince someone stuck in there ways to change their mind. However, if you are open-minded and like the new Camaro, there are some great deals out there right now. If you also happen to be a Mustang owner, well, now might be the best chance you’ll get to branch out.
