A drunk driver who crossed the center line is to blame for this brutal collision, but fortunately the driver of the C5 walked away with relatively minor injuries.
According to the post on Corvette Forum, he scraped his head on the roof upon impact, his lower leg and calf got ripped open by the clutch pedal, and he sustained a light concussion, but is fine otherwise. Looking at what a mess the driver footwell is, I’d say he’s a pretty lucky guy, and that the Vette held up valiantly.
