Mustang and Pontiac Firebird WS6 Duel in a Donut War

LS1 Donuts

When it comes to muscle cars, the war will always rage on. Some claim that the Ford Mustang is king, from the day it was born up until the present. Others are die-hard Mopar fanatics, vouching for anything from old school Plymouth rides to the modern Challenger and Charger. However, here on LS1Tech we will always support GM rides, whether they be a classic Camaro or a modern beauty.

In today’s video we get to see two of these muscle cars duel in out in a battle on the street. No, this isn’t a drag race — instead, the two rides take turns spinning some smokin’ donuts in front of an excited crowd. The competitors are a Fox Body Ford Mustang and a fourth generation Pontiac Firebird WS6.

While the Mustang did put on a good show (those tires were really squealing!) it has nothing on the performance of the Pontiac! Turning wide donuts that clip the driveway from time to time and really roaring, the Firebird did quite well. Of course, the smoke-filled exit has to be our favorite part of the whole affair!

But while we think the Firebird took the win, we’ll let you decide — check out the sideways fun below!
