We were covering the Los Angeles Auto Show this week, and among other things, noted that General Motors had quite a showing:

This is LS1Tech, when it comes to performance and going fast, the General knows how to deliver. Here were a few highlights from LAAS, including a bit of foreshadowing about the new fleet vehicle that will be visiting us here at LS1Tech.com. Go ahead and take a guess which of these vehicles will be in our hands for the next week.

First up we have some cutaways of the LT1 and LT4 engines.

Up next was the Cadillac booth, where all of the vehicles in attendance were wearing the finest suits of a striking grey metallic. The Escala concept was center stage, and though was missed having the Elmiraj in attendance, this was a suitable replacement and was stunning. Also in attendance were the ATS-V brothers, in both coupe and sedan guises, as well as the new CTS-V, with it’s mega LT4 supercharged V8 engine.

Rounding up the go-fast stuff was Chevorlet, with the sixth generation Camaro in ZL1 form and two C7 Corvettes – a standard rag top and a stunning tri-colore Grand Sport painted in a most patriotic Red, White and Blue color scheme. I was impressed with the build quality of the sixth generation Camaro, a big leak up from the fifth gen car.
