As with all Hennessey vehicles, the number after HPE signifies that horsepower that the car makes. In the case of the HPE800 Camaro, that’s 800 freaking horsepower. All of that power comes from a massive supercharger bolted on top of the stock 505 horsepower LS7 V8.
This package is perfect for people who want to have more horsepower and better driving dynamics than the Challenger Hellcat or Shelby GT500, or for people who were worried about being beat by a Corvette Z06 (with the Z07 package) at the race track. You get all the Z/28 goodies, including the carbon ceramic brakes and trick suspension, just with a lot more ooomph.
