Neither insurance auction nor divorce will keep this 1970 Chevelle from finding a new home.

Have you checked out our brand-new LS1Tech Marketplace yet? Have you checked it out through our new mobile app for iPhones and Androids alike? Either way, it’s the first place you should go when it comes to finding your next LS- or LT-powered project.

In fact, here’s a project we happened upon the other day that is need of a good home. This 1970 Chevy Chevelle restomod, complete with LS swap is available now. It’s a clean, classic muscle car that is a paint job away from perfection. It’s also a paint job away from being off the market, so you better act fast.

“My 70 Chevelle has been almost 6 years and $25k in the making,” says the seller, Wes_70ss of the Chevelle. “I bought it from a couple divorcing, who purchased it at an insurance auction.”

After tons of work on the body, the seller added an LS6 to the Chevelle with new heads and intake, delivering 500 horses to the dyno. The interior will need a lot of work to enjoy that power, though, as it lacks a pair of front seats, door handles, and all the glass.

The seller says that if he takes the Chevelle to a body shop, he’ll likely keep it. If someone wants to bring it home, though, he’ll take cash, $20,000 to be specific, or trades for a Camaro or another Chevelle, or both. Whatever happens, though, may this Chevelle hit the road soon.
