A Rambler Ready to Rumble

“It’s a ’62 Rambler American,” said Alan of his bright green Wisconsin-built beauty. Instead of the original 3.2-liter inline-six with 125 ponies, though, this Rambler’s got an LS3 with 430 thunderhorses ready to rumble. A 4L65E transmission moves the herd along to the 9-inch Ford rear. According to Alan, the LS is the best thing to happen since canned beer. We’ll drink to that!

Breaking Through to Deliver the Goods

“It’s a [Connect] and Cruise from GM, a 2017 [LSA] with a 4L80 transmission,” said Dan about his ’57 Chevy delivery wagon’s Cadillac-adorned V8, which also includes a hefty supercharger to pump up the power. Wilwood discs all around bring everything to a stop, Vintage Air keeps everything cool in the summer heat. He adds that it’s a joy to drive. No disagreements here!

Cameron Aubernon's path to automotive journalism began in the early New '10s. Back then, a friend of hers thought she was an independent fashion blogger.

Aubernon wasn't, so she became one, covering fashion in her own way for the next few years.

From there, she's written for: Louisville.com/Louisville Magazine, Insider Louisville, The Voice-Tribune/The Voice, TOPS Louisville, Jeffersontown Magazine, Dispatches Europe, The Truth About Cars, Automotive News, Yahoo Autos, RideApart, Hagerty, and Street Trucks.

Aubernon also served as the editor-in-chief of a short-lived online society publication in Louisville, Kentucky, interned at the city's NPR affiliate, WFPL-FM, and was the de facto publicist-in-residence for a communal art space near the University of Louisville.

Aubernon is a member of the International Motor Press Association, and the Washington Automotive Press Association.
