Ballin’ on a Budget: Pontiac GTO Bugatti Veyron

The Bugatti Veyron has for long been target of counterfeit body kits, but most of them if not all of them are crappy and terrible looking. Not this one though, this Pontiac GTO owner went above and beyond to be ballin’ on a budget.

Based on the controversial 2005 Pontiac GTO that most original GTO owners never really considered a “real” GTO, this Bugatti Veyron conversion is made up of high-quality fiberglass, real carbon fiber, and it even received a professional paint job to make sure it looked as much like the real deal as possible. Oh, and it’s now on sale for a whopping $125,000 on eBay.

One doesn’t have to inspect the exterior or interior of this vehicle to realize this wasn’t a cheap job at all. Even the interior has been fitted with a few Bugatti-authentic parts the owner snatched from the internet, and the rear spoiler’s hydraulic lift system works just like it should in the real deal.

Perhaps the only disappointment is the engine: although a powerful LS2 V8, it certainly doesn’t compare to the W16 with over 1,000 horsepower and 10 radiators. But that’s OK, because I really can’t imagine someone spending this kind of money on a kit car when, for the same money, they could buy a seriously powerful and cool-looking original car like a used Audi R8 V10.
