1998 Camaro SS

In today’s RIDE ON! feature we’re going to step inside jc98ss‘s garage and take a look at the glorious machine that lies within.

The car he boasts within those walls has 401 horsepower, is naturally aspirated, is equipped with drag radials, has been heavily modified, and is definitely an enviable vehicle. Today we’re going to look at jc98ss’s 1998 Camaro SS.

But this isn’t just any 1998 Camaro SS. For this year model only 48,495 were made, and this particular car is number 626. We’re not exactly sure how much this car would be worth now, but it’s certainly worth something.

Even so, we have to appreciate the fact that rather than preserving or reselling the ride, jc98ss took the time to make this Camaro into an even greater performance vehicle.

We keep on mentioning that jc98ss has done a lot to make this car even more powerful, so now we’ll move on to exactly what he’s done to the car.

Among other things, he has put in an LS6 intake, a Spec 2+ clutch, a Tick Performance master cylinder, Pacesetter long tube headers, an LPP stainless true dual exhaust, and tons of UMI suspension parts.

Not to mention that the Camaro has been debadged and lowered.
