RIDE ON! A Purple 1994 Pontiac Firebird Formula

It doesn’t take much to appreciate a solid Pontiac Firebird. These cars are just a wonderful example of what Pontiac once was — the manufacturer of superb muscle cars.

Though the company is no longer with us (may they rest in peace) it is always a great thing to see one of their creations cruising down the road.

LS1Tech member ahritchie is the proud owner of one of their rides himself, and today we’ll step inside his garage and take a closer look at what lies between those walls!

The car, if you hadn’t already noticed, is painted in a vibrant shade of purple. This is likely the reason why ahritchie has dubbed this ride “The Purple Car.”

A rather odd shade on most vehicles, it is quite refreshing to see someone who is willing to stand out! Not that he needs the intriguing paint job to do that. After all, who wouldn’t notice a modified Pontiac Firebird roaring down the road? And this car is certainly not stock!

As it sits now, the ride has a forged 383, CNC ported Combination Motorsports Stage II stock heads, a ported intake manifold, a 52mm throttle body, Pacesettle mid-tube headers, a Lunati Voodoo 60122 cam, a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust, and much more!

Looking past his Plum Crazy Pontiac, ahritchie is also the owner of a 1999 Firehawk Formula and a 1966 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk III. We’re definitely more than a little jealous of the cars he owns!

Go stop by his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week!
