Comparing a newer Nissan GT-R to a 4th generation Camaro with an LS1 engine would be pretty unbalanced on a stock to stock basis, but the Camaro Z28 in this week’s Drag Race video is clearly far from stock.
Many people assume that the fourth generation Camaro is good for nothing but straight lines down the quarter mile. However, when done right these F-Bodies can hang with the best from Europe around the road course.
The fourth generation Camaro really wasn’t good for anything other than slapping insane amounts of power into it and going in a straight line. Anything but that, and the Camaro was a limp wristed American muscle car that couldn’t turn to save it’s life.
