Way back in February, a sink hole appeared underneath the floor of the historic Corvette Museum and began swallowing cars whole. It almost looked like some elaborate hoax for a while, with people speculating that the cars shown to be swallowed looked a lot like Matchbox cars.

A few days ago, we showed you the first shots of the new Ring Brothers creation dubbed “Recoil.” It essentially was a hyper tuned 1966 Chevelle. Now we have more details and better pictures, and it’s better than anyone could have hoped for.

I admire any person or company that has a vision and the work ethic to make that vision into a reality, especially when it comes to something as labor-intensive as a custom car. SEMA is full of them, but let’s face it – some of them are downright hideous despite the hours of knuckle-busting and Red Bull swilling that went into them.

It wouldn’t be SEMA without a new-school Trans Am post. This once was built for a Canadian customer, and the Magnuson Direct Mount Supercharger, beefy competition rockers, custom-ground cam and long tube headers—among other choice bits—mean this Screaming Chicken is putting down 600 horsepower at the wheels.

GM never should have killed Pontiac, and if China wasn’t so batshit for Buick, it might not have. That said, if the General had embraced retro styling with its performance brand, we could have seen wicked cars like this Hurst Judge rolling down the street en masse. I love the Regal, but I’ll take this bad ass reincarnated Goat any day of the week.

Love them or hate them, KISS still seems to be a thing in the world and for some unknown reason, they collaborated with Corvette to bring about the apocalypse. I mean a modified C7.

If anyone out there knows how to get gearheads excited about a muscle cars, it’s the Ringbrothers. And right now this little teaser of their latest build set to debut at SEMA is just ramping up the fervor for this shop’s cars.
