Two titans of the industry have gone head to head with one another for the past 50 years. Chevy and Ford, Ford and Chevy.

When most people think of muscle cars, they think of big, lumbery, heavy V8 powered behemoths that make more smoke and noise than actual power.

Well this isn’t very SEMA-like, Chevy. Just a couple stripes, a few red accents and black wheels? Don’t you know this car will be in Vegas?

Way back in February, a sink hole appeared underneath the floor of the historic Corvette Museum and began swallowing cars whole. It almost looked like some elaborate hoax for a while, with people speculating that the cars shown to be swallowed looked a lot like Matchbox cars.

A few days ago, we showed you the first shots of the new Ring Brothers creation dubbed “Recoil.” It essentially was a hyper tuned 1966 Chevelle. Now we have more details and better pictures, and it’s better than anyone could have hoped for.

I admire any person or company that has a vision and the work ethic to make that vision into a reality, especially when it comes to something as labor-intensive as a custom car. SEMA is full of them, but let’s face it – some of them are downright hideous despite the hours of knuckle-busting and Red Bull swilling that went into them.

It wouldn’t be SEMA without a new-school Trans Am post. This once was built for a Canadian customer, and the Magnuson Direct Mount Supercharger, beefy competition rockers, custom-ground cam and long tube headers—among other choice bits—mean this Screaming Chicken is putting down 600 horsepower at the wheels.
