Imagine, sitting in the cabin of a brand new Chevy Silverado 1500 HD, believing it’s just a normal pickup and then all of a sudden being pressed into your seat trying to not scream bloody murder.
Remember the scene in Days of Thunder when the two NASCAR races went fender to fender in a pair of rental cars – this week’s Burnout video is like that, but a little less extreme and a little more realistic.
The 2015 Chevrolet Colorado has been making news lately. Chevrolet’s epic punking of the Super Bowl was one of the better commercials of the big game, and it’s hard to ignore Motor Trend’s Truck of the Year.
This week’s Dyno Blast video features a 2000 Chevy Silverado packing a “fully blown” LS1 V8 making its first run on the dynamometer. Other than the fact that this Chevy pickup has an LS1 engine and a supercharger, we don’t know anything about the truck – but I would guess that this isn’t the best dyno shop in the world.
