What happens when you take a Chevrolet Camaro that was once powered by a LT1 engine, and replace it with a 6.0L LS1 with a turbocharger? You end up with a car than can run a less than 10 second quarter-mile, that’s what.
We’ve been inundated with more rumors and swirling information about how Chevy is finally cooking up a mid-engine Corvette for what seems like decades.
Handful is probably not the best word I’d use when describing a 1969 Twin Turbo Camaro that’s pushing over 1000 hp. It’s probably better to call it a death machine, or fulfilling your life insurance policy early, or something to that nature. Or if you are the man that built it, you could describe it as fun as all hell, and I’m inclined to agree with him.
