This action-packed proof reveals the new 6th generation 2016 Chevrolet Camaro COPO is a serious and stealthy dragstrip threat. It comes factory-built and race-ready. Looking at the way this Camaro COPO lifted flat under heavy acceleration, held grip and hooking straight down the dragstrip so quick showed a clear improvement.

A recent Chevy media release reported enhancements were made to this generation using computer-aided design unlocking meaningful enhancements. A couple being a weight reduction of 133 lbs whilst adding 28 percent more rigidity.

Flying off the line into high wheelies this white COPO being filmed is fitted with the largest of the three engine choices for the 2016 model. This being a 427 cubic inch 7-Liter LSX eight-cylinder engine. Also available is a supercharged variant whipping up a 350 cubic inch 5.7-Liter engine.
