10 second Sleepers post up!

I built this car to be a sleeper, well, as sleeper as a red Vette is going to be. It's in the shop right now getting a new motor, but it's a APS TT (yes, I'm updating the crappy parts) that made 540/540 rw. The car is as quiet as stock and even flooring it, you just barely hear the whistle.
The stealth mods:
- APS wastegates and BOV's route back into the exhaust and intake (synapse BOV's, btw).
- The rear stock rims were widened out to 12" wide. Car is mini-tubbed and I run a 345/35/18 M/T ET Street on the back (pictured).
- Guages are all on the middle dash, below the radio. AC was moved to the bottom where the cigarette light and ashtray were.
- When you open the hood, all you see is a BBK air intake and filter. The APS manifolds are already cast with a diamond plate heat shield (they look like stock manifolds, kind of). and the intercooler piping below the bumper is painted flat black. The IC piping then goes up through the bottom of the air filter (which obviously isn't functional). There's a square catch can but we painted that flat black also. It looks like part of the smog or AC or something.
The best thing is that with the new engine, it's not going to look or sound any different (well, pretty close anyways). It'll still be very quiet driving around and it should make close to 700 rwhp.
My car is a 1978 Chevy Monza with a 1998 F-body LS1 with stock manifolds, stock LS1 intake and a stock cam. You can barely hear it run and it still has the 5.0Litre (305) badges. I ran 11.58 with a 75 shot on 89 degree day and a DA of 2800'. I'm going back in the next month or so with a much cooler track and 150 shot. I'm hoping to break into the 10's. I've since put on Summit brand weld look a likes.

Still run cold A/C, GPS, and all power in the car. Looking for a pic now....
2nd is a 1995 Eagle Talon TSI.......fully built 2.0 with stage 3 Shepherd drivetrain, 67mm turbo and stand alone fuel memagement system. best 11.4 at 128mph...and is fwd.
found a pic of the Talon, also showing the stock turbo vs the one in the car now.
Both pics are too big...going to have to resize them somehow....
An easy way to resize is to open them in MS Paint (right click on the pick and choose 'Open with' and then 'Paint'. Once open, click on 'Image' at the top and then click 'Stretch/Skew' to resize.
Loved the freakin Monza. Always did like those cars. My aunt had one in white that I used to drool over as a teenager.

Got the new suspension since it can't seem to hook at the track and I already snapped the torque arm once when going into second gear.
Forward to 19 seconds to race between my high 11 second vette and my high ten second camaro.

Well anyways, you have some VERY nice cars there man. Congrats on them.
And TRUST me, I feel you on the stock drivetrain in a car that has some power.
I put my 403 LS2 Stroker down in my car and went broke from getting everything rounded up, and I decided to put the stock trans. in until I could afford a built trans. Well it made it through the tuning process and then 2 1/2 weeks later it blew up on me

Needless to say I wish I had just spent the money when it was out, considering I had the cash but I just wanted to hang on to it just in case something else came up. But Oh' Well It's got a built motor and transmission in it now along with alot of suspension mods and a built rear and cage are both going in this winter so I have big plans for it next season!

Anyways, Take it easy and again.... Very Nice cars!

Mod's in sig. Didn't get any 1.4 or 1.3 60 foots yet. No 2 step yet, launching with no boost. Boost leak out of O rings needs fixed badly.
