Default OK its got a cage but its practically invisible with the top up!

Here is my 2001 Camaro Z28. My goal was always to have it look stock with a big surprise under the hood. Yeah, I added a roll-bar but with the black top up it's practically invisible!

No track times yet, but....

Sleeper down to the STOCK SS catback, z28 snow flake wheels, 235/55r16 all season tires....however it is lowered.

Drag wheels...

No track times yet, but forged LS2, AFR heads, ported fast 92, 243/247 .625"/.625" 113+3lsa cam, 9" rear end, qa1's, little weight reduction (ac, ps, abs, anything emissions, rear speakers, gutted rear seat, rear seat belts, spare/jack, factory amp, etc). It is a 6-speed car. I have a goal of 10.9-11.2 NA....a little faster once I get a bottle on it. Next season it will be on 15x10 prostars with 28x12.5 ET streets I'm thinking

I think this thread just goes to show you never know what your pulling up next to thinking to yourself hey a stock car I can humiliate and then BOOM. He blows by you sideways at 50mph!

It's amazing what a set of drag wheels do to a car. I go to a gas station on snowflakes and not a sole looks at my car. I go on the prostars and people are always asking what's done, and how fast it go LOL.

Wow that looks exactly like what I want to do Randy, do you have to run spacers in the rear or front or what is required to do this?

So if I were to run 315 drag radials on the rear do you think I could run without a spacer? Also how much did you pay to have that done, you can PM me if you want.

I had to run spacers on my rear with the 315's & 335's, Now that's if you have your stock rim widened, aftermarket rims you might get the right offset you need, I really dont know.If you dont run a spacer you will haft to mini tub. That what i going to do, Im very close to the inner fender and plus my car lowered 2". To have the rims work ,it was around 250.00 a set (2)

Got the Zex kit in the clearence area of their web site (very resonable for 125 wet shot kit) and the other stuff from nitrous outlet (integrated spare well bottle warmer and mounting bracket , double stage window switch. I have a member decal and weld wheels but to be fair I was deep in the 10's w/no stickers and with ZR1's w/dr's..took out the TR224 cam and went to LS6 cam/5.3 heads with mid-length headers and yank PT3000 shes runnin.Oh yeah stock *** 4L60E..dont ask...that is with a 125 dry shot...
