Default busted 10's this weekend in the heat

well i got my goal this weekend even though it was hot as hell! Ran a 10.78 @ 128.42 on a 1.54 60', 1/8th 6.9x @101.xx. don't have the slip with me since i'm at work. mods are as follows, ms4 cam, stock ls6 heads, slp headers, tdp clutch, moser 12 bolt w/3.73's and 35 spline axles, bmr t/a, and thats about it. I'm still rolling on the 1LE suspension for the time being and on 26x11.50x16" mt et streets. Car is still spinning about 10 ft out of the hole running 10 psi in the slicks. weather on that pass was around 80-85 degrees with a da around 2000 ft. it was a silver dollar raceway in south west ga. here is a vid of the pass. hell the truck beside me ran an 11.9! hope you enjoy. I'm shooting for 10.30's at our november track day in some cooler weather and some drag suspension under the car. Oh and it was running a touch rich to @ 11.2 since we didn't put it on the dyno from the step to the 100 shot to the 150, so probably losing a little power there.

and here is the next pass about 30 minutes after the first one

Nice run. The stuff is adicting. My camaro ran 11.10's on a 100 shot and 10.80's on the 150. But it was a tr230/224 cam only at the time. Just think, an auto will go even faster!! lol.

Congrats it is always good to reach a goal! Be safe and have fun with it. I also agree pump up the tire pressure as much as the track will hold. It feels a lot safer at the top end of the track!!

15 and it won't hold, not enough side wall i guess on the 16" 26" tires. i was launching around 5500. I know if i put some 28" tires on there she would probably pull the tires pretty good.

believe it or not, it was still straight as an arrow all the way down. I'm guessing after the burnout it was probably around 12-13psi, 10 psi was cold pressure.
