10.65 @ 135.80mph
Made my first 10 second pass a couple weeks ago. I only have a couple of passes in the car because the ls7 clutch just glazed over and melted to the floor after a burnout, not allowing me to shift the car. So no real seat time.
So I added a ACT twin disk clutch and got in 1 run. Launched at 2800rpm
2008 Corvette(non z51 gearing)
Stock A&A Vortech SI kit
Single Alky
275/40 Drag radials
Stock exhaust except BB mufflers

I plan on getting at least 10 passes in the car soon, however, they don't give me a warning at a 10.6, just the boot, so I will probably have to 1/8 mile race than hit the breaks. I know the mph is there for a 9, but I don't have the z51 gearing(optional, standard in z06's), and 9's are tough to do with the stock tranny/differential. Next time out I plan on working my way down to a 6.8, then making one pass and see if I can run a 10.4, and slowly working my way down, trying not to break.

I got to make my 2nd pass in the car tonight. A lot of the LS1, corvette forum guys were there too, and know that it is only the 2nd pass with my setup. After the launch, I thought it was a 10.2-10.3. However, You can see the clutch boil and smoke on the slip. 60ft was a solid 1.62, but I should have MPH'd +1 and it took me 2 slams to get the car in 2nd from 1st gear, which killed the ET. Given the ET of my 1.81 run and DA, this DA was better so the car should have been much faster.
I'm still happy with the car and little seat time. I need to figure out what is going on with the twin clutch. I wanted to add exhaust and a ZR-1 or baby cam this week, but I'm going to put that on hold till I figure out why the clutch will not hold the launch. Very frustrating to go out and make 2 passes in 2 trips to the track.
Sorry about the video, I had to use a cheap digital camera to record it off my TV since I don't have the proper USB cord. I'll update it in HD soon.

^^Thanks
Just to look at the 2 passes in comparison. I went .2 faster in the 60ft, but only .08 faster overall ET with a better DA. I lost 2+mph in the 1/8 when the clutch stuck down to the floor, but only lost .62mph because the car was pulling hard on the back 1/8 mile of the track when the clutch felt ok. Looks like I need to get rid of the ACT twin organic disks.

Thanks!
Can anybody recommend me a clutch? I had the Spec 3 in my C5, and hated it. Loved the clamping force and bite, but it bit too hard for an IRS car. I really don't want a puck style because of the harshness on the drivetrain.
Is there any twin disk that can handle 700rwhp(adding 100hp) and drag race with a clutch slip? Maybe a 1.5 60ft without dumping the clutch?
