I finally broke into the 10's this weekend at Byron. With 3 young kids at home, I only get out to the track once a year, so I think the car has a little more in it if I could just rack up some more seat time.
1996 Camaro Z28
- Stock LT1 shortblock
- LE2 heads and intake
- LT4 Hotcam
- Nitrous Outlet plate (62N)
- NANO
- FLT Level 5 4L60E
- Yank SS3600
- Moser 12-bolt 3.73
I can't thank Larry Hamilton and Speed Inc. enough for all of their help on the car over the last 10 years. Without those guys, the car wouldn't be anything close to what it is today and most likely would of been long gone by now.

Joe
congrats! it's been a pleasure working on the project over the years while I was at Speed Inc.
This car is no light weight, so these are very impressive results IMO for the combo.
I hope you get out to another track day and with a jet change with better weather can squeeze a little more out of it.

Thanks everyone.
62N = 150 shot
Did you get just the 2 runs in then? We stayed until dark and ended up getting 5 runs in. It was a long day, but definitely glad we stuck around. Hopefully I'll see you at the track again with that beautiful car of yours.

It does, and with the new FLT transmission and Yank SS3600, even better. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere.
Talk to you soon Larry.

I've already changed somethings up from Sunday so I'm hoping those little improvements show at the track.
It was nice to meet you and it was definitley nice to hit the track with some f-body guys as well as fellow LT1 owners

yeah only stayed for two runs. That last oil down was enough to do me in. I can see from the time stamp on the slips you were there for awhile lol. I will be at Cordova this weekend out work on my suspension tuning more and get the car dialed in.
