congrats on the runs, very nice times. I have the same gearing and converter as you, but with a 26" hoosier. I thought that the bigger tire would slow you down in that combo, am I way off here?

I don't think that mindset is off, I actually was worried about that same thing but I don't believe it had much effect. Here is a pass I made the year before on a 26" tire. Mind you this was not a perfect pass but a clean one nonetheless

1.55 60'
7.10 1/8
96.28 mph
11.19 1/4
119.61 mph

The only changes I made from then until now were that I went to a bigger FTP lid with an 85mm MAF, added a u/d pulley, and removed the a/c. The car gained 20rwhp and as you can see it trapped 3.39mph higher even with the taller tire.

For your setup and weight, your car is running pretty decent. 364ci correct?

I remember we both had problems with poor ETs several years ago, but we finally got it figured out.

yes I do remember that, you live and you learn for sure. You are correct the motor is a 364ci LS2 stock bottom end aside from rod bolts I'm hoping I can do some small things and get it running just a tad better while I finish collecting turbo parts.

Def nice running car! You have a very similar cam that I have in my Formula. Ours is a LSL lobe 235/243 112+2. Ours being lower compression on stock 241 LS1 heads is really hurting this camshaft I believe. It made 396rwhp and has run a best of 11.7@116 so far but the stock tranny gave in on that 11.7 pass. 4k Circle D stall aided in that I'm sure haha.

Congrats on the 10's! That's flying in a stock bottom end full weight car.

thank you very much it has taken me a little longer to get to this point but I am pretty happy with the car thus far. Really makes me want to buy a fast intake, drop some weight, and see how fast I can go like this.

Your mods list is just about identical to the list of stuff I either already have and are about to do. I am doing a set of 799 TEA St2 heads on the original LS1 from my 02 Formula and have the cam I listed above with a Circle D 4K stall. I'm hoping that I can get somewhere close to the bottom 11's with the setup and maybe some high 10's with a Fast90/92/102 intake setup.

Keep up the good work!

Your car is running hard at that weight. You are where I want to be. I am about where you were in the time slip you posted from last year. I am looking for all the little things to get 3725 lbs closer to 10s.

I did very minor mods from then until now, just went over everything a second time and caught a few little problems. One of which was a dragging set of rear brakes, car tapped the limiter on the 1-2 shift as well, and removed some weight. Couldn't believe it gained 20hp from a lid and u/d pulley so that was a bonus.

at this point I don't see me spending any more money on the motor, I have some turbo stuff I'm putting together slowly so for now I may just finish off the suspension.

it very well could have been, that day didn't necessarily start out how I had planned wish I could have done a few things before leaving. Here is a go pro vid of an 11.19 pass so this isn't a meaningless post.
