SBE N/A Street Driven 100k Bird Hit 10's Streetsweeper/ TSP FTW!
After years of being stuck in the low 11's finally pulled the trigger and added PRC225's and 42lb injectors. with tons of help from a member on here, Luch90,whose pretty modest guy,, ill let him chime in and take credit, Dave, has been there thru the wrenching and tuning .Another friend of mine Chris has helped a ton as well, hes not on here , he mostly a Mopar guy.
From the start 8yrs ago with 82k on the clock, , car came with Non adjustable Torque Arm, UD pulley and Thunder racing cam kit (springs PR's Double chain, High volume pump), we installed, New Era FTI Streetsweeper cam 236/240, LS6 ZO6 243's, free mods,Ford SVO 36lb injectors. PB 3800 converter, BMR SFC's and drag radials, car was in 11.8's 11.7's
From there Billet Specialties and TSP 1 7/8 headers, different exhaust variations. Added QA1 front Drag shockssome UMI rear suspension goodies, and Yank PT4000 converter Strange Engineering 12bolt with 4.10's. Only thing removed from the car was A/C, still pretty loaded with power leather seats windows etc, heavy, the car went faster getting into the 11.5's and high 11.4's,
With Dave still in my corner we Home ported LS6 head and added FAST 90/90. 11.2's... all this was over 8 yrs of meeting up at the Empire Dragway and data logging and tuning. Still without wanting to start gutting the car up, and alot of research on here and PM's with DarthV8r and Miami993c297 , Ed Curtis and couple other members, Heads had to be in order. Pulled the trigger on PRC 225's, hollow stem option at 61cc .040 cometics and BTR 3/8 pushrods and 42lb injectors
with that being said, we cracked just into the 10's! Car had 1/8 tank of fuel, believe we were running into small bit of fuel starvation looking at the logs, more to come!
