Default Woohoo, i'm in the 10 sec club!!!!!

****** A right, first time to the track on the spray and she was flyin!!!!

Here's the order of my spray runs tonight, all of them being 100 shot!!!

Right off the street, starting with a 6300 shift point

60' - 1.529
330 - 4.346
1/8 - 6.737
mph - 102.56
1000 - 8.810
1/4 - 10.570
mph - 128.35

Came back, reheated bottle, ran again almost right away, upped to 6500 shift point

60' - 1.564
330 - 4.381
1/8 - 6.765
mph - 102.97
1000 - 8.831
1/4 - 10.585
mph - 128.77

She seemed to like the 6500 shift point, so I stuck with that for the rest of the night and this run was after she had about 1 hour to 1.5 hours cool down time and they prepped track before they ran super pro and then us

60' - 1.530
330 - 4.303
1/8 - 6.679
mph - 103.11

1000 - 8.743
1/4 - 10.494
mph - 129.06

Had best 60' of the night, but I was running out of nitrous, and the pressure was down b/c I had a long wait while going up to race after I already strapped in, cuz someone broke, and then another car broke while I was up there and they moved me to the other lane

60' - 1.510
330 - 4.343
1/8 - 6.742
mph - 102.40
1000 - didn't print on slip
1/4 - 10.575
mph - 128.60

I can't believe how fast she went on just a 100 shot, I can't be any happier!!!!!!

PS - Ran one motor pass tonight and went 11.83 @ 116.7x on a 1.72 60' (The 28" ET drags hurt me a little on motor), so basically she picked up almost 1 and a half seconds and 13 mph on the 100 shot, that's just sick!!!!!!

Devon,

Congrats and welcome to the club... updated your title

Start messing with the psi again to see what it likes leaving on the bottle. Then after you get the traction consistent, start playing with your shift points little by little to find the sweet spot.

Glad to hear the car did better than you expected on the gas. Cheers my friend

That's badass, Congrats.

I don't suppose you plan to up the nitrous alittle more?

Congrats Dev! Couldn't have picked a better night to spray it. DA was a negative 610 at 10 pm..........I bet I could have gotten some 12.0's out of my **** last night.

I think Friday I will be out.......I am sooo ******* pissed I missed a good night over my new job.

Thanks a lot bro, that 10.49 run, the bottle pressure was around 1100 - 1150 to start, and it seems to like 6500 rpm shift points, it was slower on 6300, and I didn't try higher than 6500 b/c I heard nitrous likes lower shifts than motor and I shift at 6700 on motor, so i'm thinkin 6500 might be the sweet spot, but i'll have to try a few more things too! I'm so happy with how the car is running, I never expected it to go that fast on a 100 shot!!!!

I might up to the 150's, but not sure, it's running so good on the 100's, I almost don't need too!!! But I probably won't go past 150 on the stock bottom. **** man, my car with just a cam and 100 shot is running around what a lot of cars with h/c and 150 shot are running!

Thanks Claire, and chris, i'll probably throw the 150's in there some time and test them out! I don't know how the da was that low, I saw a ton of dew all over the cars, figured the humidity must've been up there!

Keep trying little changes at a time and you may get surprised again. Don't settle for the hearsay of nitrous shift points, find out what your car likes best. Keep tuning on the suspension as I bet you've got better short times coming.

Congrats again.

Thanks man, I will keep trying diff stuff and see what happens. I left the shocks how they worked best at bmp on motor, 2 up front, and 6 rears and she seemed to do pretty good, but I gotta get my girl to come and get good vids of my runs so I can see what she doin and make adjustments, just like at bradenton! I was launching off the t-brake, I set up the relay to shut the nitrous when the button is on, and turn back on when I let go. I also have a harlan two step on the way, so I figure that might help my 60's a bit by giving it some flash off the line on the brake, we'll see what happens! I would love to get that 60' down into the 1.4's or 1.3's! I'll also soon be ordering a rear swaybar and lca relocation brackets to finish off the suspension, i'm sure those will help a little too! But imagine if I cut a 1.3x on that pass, would've gone 10.2x possibly!!!!!!!

You car will love a drag anti-squat (swaybar). Just have someone keep a real close eye on the right rear to see if it's dead hookin on the launch. I was stuck at 1.51s until my suspension tune, then bam, straight to 1.39s!

I'm curious, why the right rear? You were really stuck at 1.51's? ****, I hope I can jump to 1.3's with some suspension tuning!!!! What did it for ya, the rear swaybar? What do you set ur shocks at, just so I can see if i'm near the right area.

I was there. Talk about one happy kid, this guy was bouncing around all over Moroso! It was funny to see. I was thinking the dude was breathing in the gas himself! And 'couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

I will be that giddy when I get an 11 sec timeslip, which is way overdue. Like Devon, I too will succumb to the Nitrous Gods come this Fall.

Thanks man! U are definately gonna love the tnt kit when you get it!!!! Oh yeah, I was definately freakin out, I actually lost my voice a little from screamin f'yeah and whooing, and all that kind of good stuff inside the car after goin through the traps on the first pass and then on the 10.49 pass (I watched the board as I went through the traps and saw the 4, and just started freakin!!!!)!!! I wonder how high I jumped when I got back from that first spray pass, I was so excited, I just flipped out!!!
