going to the track end of this coming week, i finally dusted of my skinnies and will be upgrading to some w's on the rear, got the new gears broke in, car is lighter, added a ewp and removed the belt which was worth quite a bit on the dyno, got the new tranny in, removed 5th and 6th which was 10lbs of rotating mass, proshifted the other 4 gears and removed some more weight.
hoping to go low 10.3's high 10.2 in 3000+da, last runs were +100ft

 

What are you running for a batt. I was thinking of running no belt then putting the belt back on on the return lane and charge from there back to the stageing lanes or pits. My fat pig is still full weight, thinking about pulling my a/c pump,condensor,lines, and power steering pump. Your car fly's already, it will run what you want.

 

im running a dynabatt, i have made multiple dyno pulls in a row without the belt on just to see what happend and never lost power so i figure i have more than enough power to crank her up at the burnoutbox make a pass idle on back to the trailer. i wont do this till the car is dialed in and read for this tho, i cant put my belt on and off like i used to in 2 seconds cause i have a pin on hood now. ive never made a pass without a belt before cause i didnt have a ewp till now, im anxious to see what happens

I wanna throw on an EWP too but am going to wait till i move closer to my job. this being my daily driver and all.

 

a daily driver without a/c and a radio and your worried about a ewp HA HA HA

 

EWP don't last forever. so i'de rather wait till i have a 20 mile round trip a day rather than a 90 mile round trip.

 

well, the car for the most part is done for tomorrow, i changed the oil finally, changed out a blown shock, put new w tires on, put ds loop on, put tranny blanket somewhat on and took out the passenger seat, straped down the battery. now, time to see what this succa runs
