10.71 at 125 mph.

When this heat wave leaves, there will be more to come. Motor doesn't want to do much in 100 degree weather @ 5600 feet.

I saw this run, it was fast. Regardless of the mods, up here 10's are something to be proud of. Very few LT f-bodies have done it, let alone LS1 cars. Most of the "fast" cars up here can barely get into the 11's, altitude kills.

Altitude sucks so bad! My last time at the strip, the DA was 9000ft. All the n/a guys were running 1.5 seconds slow.

Good job up here. I think the track is actually 5800 feet IIRC...Makes it tough. I love lining up against some full on race cars and trapping higher than them with the big blocks n/a. I was up there for a test n tune early in the season and my little turbo Buick non trailered driver was 10th fastest that I and my girl saw run that day...And there were a lot of loud trailered race cars there...

Sad to see n/a LSx cars run so slow against 13 second turbo civics n such...Just not right in some way.

I wish could attempt to 60 foot better than 2.2x because I don't have a cage and have to slow it down to stay above 11.50's. Now, my Z06 is a 14 second monster, watch out ya'll. Bet my WRX scooby could beat the Z06 in the 1/4 half of the time.

I drive mine to N from the track as well. It is fun to line up against some of those "all-out-race-cars" and spank them, sure makes me proud.

I can't wait for Super Chevy, I want some mid to low 10's

LOL. . . I love posts like this. Congrats on the 10.71 w/DA of probably 9000 feet.

Some of these sea level guys whine like hell if they have to race in a DA of 2200 feet.

Running tens at Bandimere in the summer @ 100*F. separates the men from the boys!

Yea...im gona run at bandamere sometime next year when i get my car back together. I ran once at julesburg with the stock stall, homeported heads and a 230/236...the best it could get was a 13.9 at 104 on a 2.4 60' I think the da was 5500 or something. Julesburg co is only at 3500 ft though. But there track isnt nearly as nice as banamere.
