These are just some basics that they will check on a 10 sec car at NED. 6 point bar (I believe you technicly only need a 5 point), harness, fire jacket, fire extinguisher, drive shaft loop if you run slicks (they will bug you about it even with drag radials though), solid valve stems.

Your also suposed to have stuff like C-clip eliminators, scatter sield, SFI crank pulley/balancer, and I'm sure I'm missing more. I very rarely get asked about that stuff and when I say it's stock they still slide it through. It's pretty hard to fail tech there if you have the basics.

Does it matter if the roll bar is bolt in or weld in.

Bolt ins are fine but to be 100% legal the rear bars need to be welded to the main hoop. My rear bars arn't welded and they still havn't said anything about it. I'm also hoping they let me run over 140mph with a 6pt, hopefully they won't say much.

UL LOSE: At private TNTs up here (rentals), I don't even think they care if your wearing a seat belt or not. lol.

Same on the moon shine tracks down here in SC...I know it's for my own good though. What about swing out bars bythe seats..legal? I'm 6'1 285' and my car is still a DD that hauls kids to school so the swing out would be nice.
