In my previous auto car the stock 10 bolt went 1.6s with no problems.
Last Nov I demolished the spider gears in my current ride (M6) on the 1-2 shift
The car coasted the 1/4 in 31 seconds from 1st gears momentum ![The Jester](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_jest.gif)
The lowest it went before it broke was 1.75 on Nittos, and I never had any wheel hop.

My traps are constant 90 to 91 mph on a 100 shot in the 1/8 but my best 60 ft time is 2.23. I would like to know the best 60 ft times for a 6 speed car. That was on a stock 4.10 gear rear end with some shitty Nitto DR. Just bought a 12 bolt and getting MT ET streets I have seen cars run 7.60's with my mph hopefully it will happen.

I have a stock 10bolt with a cover and 3.73 gears in it with countless 1.7X-1.9X 60fts and quite a few 1.66+ times with 255/50/16 MT ET DR streets and 315/35/17 Nitto555R DR's and it has very minimul almost normal rear end howl in it. A4 with 4000 stall in it.

going back out Sunday
We put some Welds on the car with a 275/50/15 and either it goes well in the 1.4's or it's breaking.
The rearend end make a little noise, but nothing too bad. I am sure that will change when we spray it out of the hole

1.42 N/A
1.38 Spraying at 15 mph.
3.73s, torsion diff, Moser street axles. Stock cover.
Same rear since 2002 when I began modding car.
This year finally cracked Torsion, but may have happened when I totaled
that car last year.. not sure.
Same rear resides in a new chassis.

What do you guys suggest as the best modifications to help one hold? I see some people using the stock rear covers and some using aftermarket ones...is it worth the $150? Or is the money better spent elsewhere? I'm $1k away from a 9in...

Well, have not read thru all the 60' times.. But, I know mine is up there running a 1.45 60'.. And , in 2 weeks its gettin the test. upping the shot to a 150, and if that goes good, then the 200 shot and see what happens! So, wish me luck! Damn, a 1.3X 60' on a 10 bolt? We shall see.
