Default De-virginized the 10's

Running rich at 10.1 on the 100 shot and 10.5 N/A, I still got my 10.

60' = 1.45
1/4 = 10.8
MPH = 123

So, still alot of tuning to do and I am sure I can get a little deeper into the 10's... Damn thing took off like a bat out of hell. ****, I had to wait to get out of the car to let my wood go down! LOL

I know what you mean. I have only hit it with a 75 shot so far. I have a stand alone system now so my fuel system will be able to keep up with 600rwhp+ when I hit the 150 shot. I tried spraying more with out the stand alone and ended up melting 3 spark plugs and burnt one valve.When you start getting over 600rwhp your fuel system can't keep up so you might want to look into a stand alone. Atleast thats what happen to me so I want to make sure I don't lean out again

I do have the Walbro 255 and Nasty fuel rails/fittings. Are you still on the stock fuel system?

I have a racetronics fuel pump, 42lbs injectors, fast fuel rails, pressure regulator and return line........I leaned that out and I even jetted it for a 200 shot on the fuel side so that should have been enough. My tuner (slowhawk) told me that I couldn't spray more than a 75 shot but I got wrapped up in the moment at a shootout where I was the second slowest car there so I jetted up and paid the price. I'll be good this year to up the shot .Hope to go a real low 10 or high 9 with the 150 shot. If that dosent do it then I'm gonna swap out my 224/228 baby cam for a bigger cam. I flycut my pistons so I'm ready to go big

Yea, I had to flycutt my pistons as well...

If I do bump the shot up, it will be one of the last events of the season. If it blows, then it sits over the winter and gets a new motor.

Alls I can really do is just monitor the A/F guage and hope it does not drop.

The previous runs, N/A and N20 the guage was steady at 10.5 and 10.1 AF ratio.

So, did you pop your motor? You monitor the AF?

Just burnt a valve, did a leakdown test and all was good. My bottom end only has around 2,000 miles on it. You need to also watch your fuel pressure and get a fuel pressure safty switch that way there's less chance of leaning out

I have the FPSS but have not wired it in yet, guess I got tired of doing all the wiring and quit there.. lol

I do have a fuel pressure gauge but it is attached to the fuel rail thus not being able to see any droppage under WOT...

Thanks, your car is no slouch either... I am hoping to get the car in the low 11's on motor this year. When I hit the 10.8 mark on spray, I only managed a 11.8 on motor. My A/F was 10.5 all the way down the track. So, I am putting a fuel regulator in this friday to back the pressure down. Pressure is at 70psi and I need to get it down to ~60psi. I can only think that the regulator in the tank is bad. So, Ill put an adjustable regulator under the hood.

Last year I ran 11.6 on motor and that was with stock rims, etc. I have added some boagrts skinnies to the equation and only managed the 11.8 mark. So, there is still some power to tune in.

Very Nice. I think stock FP is like 65-67psi. I'm also shooting for sub 11.2's. Still need to get a Fast intake (ported), 12 bolt, and some big & littles, probably about all it needs now. I already upped the stall size since my last time in sig. Who knows maybe I'll pull some weight and shoot for 10.9xxx

Glad to see your car is haulin ***. I hope these 4l60E's can take it for a few years. Speaking of stuff breaking, are you still running a tranny mounted torque arm? I need to relocate mine I think, I'm sure sub 1.5 60's aren't kind to that setup.

To my knowledge, stock fuel pressure is ~59psi... I also have a Stage V FLT transmission. This is my 3rd one (1st one the stocker, 2nd one was a stage IV Rock-On trans) in less then one year. but, so far so good. I was running the stock tranny mount TA. I was at the 1.54 60' mark with that. But, I have the Spohn chassis mounted TA now. So, that should be good to go.
I am just worried about greanading my 10 bolt. Yep, hit a 1.45 60' on the 10 bolt and 1.52's on motor all day about a month ago up at Brainerd. The end of this month should be the test, I should have it tuned up and ready to go.

I will post results in here as well.
