Default PRC 2.5 LS6 heads go 10's at almost 130.

A big thanks to Jon TSP for getting me my heads and cam. I put them on my 383'd 02 Z06 and went to the track today. My best ET was 10.87 with a best MPH of 129.76. I am impressed with these heads considering the combustion chambers are as cast with only work being done to the runners. There are full details of the runs and combo in the drag raceing section. Runs were made with full wieght on pump gas.

Awesome results! I'm looking at a set of them for my vette as well.

Do you guys happen to have the flow numbers for those handy? For some odd reason TSP doesn't list them on their site....

Thanks,
Dan

Nice ****** runs bro. Couldn't believe the way you launched at the line. Then when we pulled around I noticed it was a six speed. I thought you were running an auto. I was definitely impressed.

I asked for my heads to be flowed and they weren't, I also asked to have a generic flow sheet put in my box and that didn't happen either due to time issues and some other little things. I was going to have them flowed locally but I didn't want to be dissapointed so I just installed them. I guess they are working though. Jon and Trevor said they flow 315cfm at .600.

The cam is a Comp XER 244/248 .612/.615 114+4. This thing is docile and has alot of midrange tq much to my surprise. It drives better than the smaller cam I had in there before. I am running a Vengance ported 90/90 set up as well.

I am waiting to get the video from my freind. He said about the same thing you did. He knows it is a stick but was still confused. He said you couldn't even hear the shifts, just the rpm drop like an auto. I didn't think I was driving all that well considering how I normally drive. But I guess I was doing okay.

WOW! Awesome times Brett! Jason will have some more of these heads built this week and I will grab a flowsheet and stick it in the mail. Shoot me a PM with your mailing address and I'll get it headed your way!

Congrats again!

Thanks for the response Jon. Can you publish any flow numbers here since they are not listed on your site?

Thank's Jon. I think with some tweeks here and there I can get down to 10.5-6's @ 130+. Some better weather is also headed our way. I just drove to the track yesterday and put some M/T's on and hit it. That was my only prep. Plus I only made five total passes.

Quick Reply: PRC 2.5 LS6 heads go 10's at almost 130.
