LS1 240SX goes 11s finally - cam only
My LS1 swapped Nissan 240SX made it into the 11's finally.
Bald 275/40/17 Nittos
Stock 98 Heads
MS3
LS6 Intake
M12 T56
3.92 R&P
Stock Rear IRS Suspension
1st and only pass:
60' - 1.82
1/8 - 7.717 @ 94.7
1/4 - 11.84 @ 122.7

Nice run bro, did you get a race weight? I ran a 12.00@115 last week car weighed 3080 with me in it. Stock 02 ls1/t56 j30 vlsd, on 255/50/16 BFG DRs. I am looking to do 11.5s with full interior and street tires next season. How streetable is that MS3? It looks like you are making about 80-100 more hp than me. I am in a 95 240. Again, great run.

Thanks! Race weight of ~3000 lbs. MS3 is very streetable...there's a little bucking in certain areas, but I'm sure I can get rid of it eventually. Still have a lot of street tuning to do.
I put down 368 whp on a Dyno Dynamics. Hoping to go 11.5s next time out (when I actually launch it properly and with a good tire). The MPH is there, just not the 60'.

368???? Are you running long tubes, or manifolds? I haven't been to the dyno yet, but I am estimating 320-330whp. I am still using modified f-body manifolds, and very conservative tune. My next mods will be a ud pulley, clutch, longtubes, and true duels. From there, I will get a cam, and maybe some 243 heads. I would like to break 400whp, and still maintain 20-24 mpg. I think I will have to get a taller tire, or maybe a q45 rear end so that I can finish the 1/4 in 4th. Did you have to shift to 5th for 122 trap?

Dyno Dynamics reads lower than Dynojets. I have long tubes, UD pulley, LS7 clutch. With 3.92s I'm still getting ~25 mpg and on a 25.6" tire, I'm not hitting rev limit in 4th @ 123 (crossed at 6400 rpms according to my logs).

Finally in the 11s!!!!!!
Took off my midpipe, and ran straight off the y-pipe.
On a bad note, I got rear ended in the staging lanes by a 68 Camaro, and pushed into a 70 pickup truck. I will need a couple of lights, new bumpers, and some new brackets. This is the second time I've been run into at the drag strip, and by a 68 camaro no less. Oh well, the owner said they would take care of the damage.
But, I did get my 11! I'm in the right lane. I also cut PB 1.67 60 ft!
