FTI makes a great converter! I am thinking about swapping my current converter for an FTI.
I had a Yank SS4000 in my car and with headers/converter it cut a 1.63 with a 3.23 gear on a ET Street. It was a bit looser than 4000 stall speed.

FTI makes a badass converter have had a custom 4000 on in my car for almost 2 yrs. Going from a vigilante 4000 that was to loose for my setup. this thing makes a hell of a difference. GL

Very nice indeed, similar to my 228r cammed Z28, I am reviving this since I also am an FTI guy had a 3800 stall 2.0 str converter a couple years back then went to manual and now back to auto with another 3800 I stayed loose and not a hard hit so if/when I run a 150 shot on her it will be setup right.

nice run! I have the FTI 3800 and love it. I raced a 88 Camaro with a carb'd 383, th350, 3000 tci stall, 3:42 gear running 26" ET streets. I pulled him from a dig and kept pulling tell I let off around 125. we did a 10 roll and he beat me by a car. He told me later that he sprayed on the roll because I walked him on the dig lol. His car runs 12.1 @ 116 NA.
