Default Ms4 Cam et?

Going to be ordering the ms4 Camaro for my 2001 Camaro SS. I want to know what other mods ppl was run with that cam & what et you have went? Trying to run 7.5s 1/8 mile

I run 7.5/7.4's with just bolt ons. You put that size cam in there you should be well ahead of that if not something would be seriously wrong.

Best time I ever went with my ms4 was a 7.69. That was with a busted auburn posi and 3.90 gears. This is with an m6 as well. IMO it really needs 4.30 or 4.56 gears to take full advantage of that cam.

agree with above stock internals you can run 7.5's with less than full bolt ons , especially in a stalled auto car unless you typically don't get decent DA , if your in a hot area or high altitude the cam would be helpful to get you there.

Ls6 intake, slp lid, 1 3/4" pace setter headers, junk *** dual exhaust that was 2.5" NON mandrel bends and went to 2 1/4" over the rear axle. Made 400/367.

I had a MS4 cam in my m6 ws6. I have to think that is was just too much cam for my stock heads. But again, that could be in the tune, and or in my head. But I am very curious to see what everyone thinks/ proves et's are on a otherwise stock engine. Maybe mine just was never set up right.
