Ah. Okay. I washed mine this post Friday then loaded it on the trailer and was ready to head out to find out the track wasn't going to be open. Their computer person was out of town on vacation, so they said anyway. You would think they would post that up on Monday before people makes plans to head out and race. Sucks way to end the bolt on spree for me as well as I'm already tore down to just the block putting in my winter upgrades too. Good luck with your new setup. Lol, were going from some of the fastest for our mods to back down the list. Lol

It's finally warming up in Michigan. Got her out and gave her the first bath of the year:
Almost finished getting this together:
Just need a window switch, blanket, and fpss for this to be complete.
Ls6 cam is in, runs well, but I need to send the pcm out to adjust for that and the 3.73 rear. Currently locks up at 35mph in town...pretty annoying.
Also have a transgo kit to install along with sonnax boost valve, separator plate, and 2-3 hd shift valve.
Getting married next month so I'm not sure how much I'll get done, but I'll most likely be welding in a roll bar not long after I get kicked a few times Lol 😈

I plan to do these exact 4 things also. It seems pretty straight forward in dropping the trans pan and doing all of it. Hopefully it works good. If you run into any problems snap a pic and let us know please.

-I'm still unsure about installing a roll bar (in and out, resale)
-I don't have a trailer
-drag strips are 1.5 hours one way (Milan and US 131)
-I really don't drive it that much (no poly in the back so it bangs and rattles to no end)
-I keep thinking about selling it and getting a nicer car to just cruise around in
So basically I'm at the point of no return with the car in regards to drag vs street. We'll see if a 10 second pass pushes me one way or another.
I went with the ls6 cam because I did not want to buy injectors, pay for a dyno tune, borrow a trailer, tow it to a dyno, and possibly lose some drive-ability where I would probably drive the car less. It also improves my current setup. LS1 cam peaks just after 5500 rpm and falls off from there. With the SS4000, the car drops to 5200-5400 after every shift. So I'm not being very efficient running it out. I know people do well with ls1 cam and FAST intake, but that is not in my budget. The ls6 cam will continue to make power where the ls1 falls off, torque doesn't fall off as much, and I can run it out to 6500...for under $500 (cam, springs, mail tune). I found this dyno graph of a comparison (another ls1tech member, MikeG?) and I boxed out the area that the car runs in down the track.
The car should now be pretty happy when I throw a 100 shot at it. I'm looking to go 10's, no dyno tune, and stock drive-ability when I'm not at the track. Trap and weight say the car is currently about 375hp flywheel. Ls6 cam should put me a little over 400hp flywheel and over 500 flywheel while spraying.

Did some 1/8 mile stuff at the reopened Onondaga track. Here's the best motor pass, 7.35 @ 92
went 7.12 @ 96 on a 75 shot, but my GoPro was dead

It's getting there. 60' was hit and miss, but when it did stick, it was similar to the bigger tracks. Burnout to the beam is really short and is something to get use to. For just figuring out the car, it's great. I made 11 passes and probably could have made 30+ if I stayed all day.
