11.4 @ 121 - M6 408ci
Finally cut a decent 60' and broke 11s! I had the LNC set a 4500 rpms and could go up more. Too many folks at the track last night so I couldn't squeeze in some extra passes. Not bad for an M6 iron block but I think I could rip off some better times.
Them engine is a bit of a dog (467 hp on a mustang dyno) IMO but having a blast pushing it with the 9". What y'all think?
Summary:
T56
Iron block 408ci
L92 heads
L76 intake
BMR K Member, upper & lower A arms
Quick performance 9", 3.5 PST DS
SFCs, LCAs, tunnel mount TA
Weld RTS Wheels with 295/55/15 Hoosier DR2s out back
Build details here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...ld-thread.html

Yeah, the first run was the 11.7. I turned up the 2 step and got the 11.4 pass.
I made a few passes at an 1/8 mile track last week and hit mid 7s so I figured I'd be close once I got the the 1/4 mile.
I decided to stop worrying about breaking something and go for it.

You need to turn the 2 step up and go for it. If you don't want to go all out to start with then progress in 500 rpm increments. With your combination you have a lot more in it.

Cool. I'd say maybe try revving the motor to 6500. See if that helps the mph. Instead of doing several things at once it would be cool to work on your launch, as you're planning, see the gains, then change shift point to see the differences apart from each other. Test & tune baby. Just an idea.

Might sound stupid.... but invest in a good shift light. Youll be surprised how much faster your car can be shifting consistency.

Thanks all! I've got a raptor light in the a-pillar vent.
I think it boils down to turning her up and letting her loose! Think 18lbs in the tires will hold a 5500-6500 clutch dump?

Yes, I've got a/c and an FTRA.
Well, went out to the track on Friday and couldn't hook worth a damn!! Played with the tire pressure and 2 step, and it finally hooked at 16 PSI with a 4500k launch. LOL I missed 3rd horribly that pass, but Still managed an 11.9...
Hope to have better luck next time out.
