1/8th mile time x 1.55-1.58 will get you a very close approximation of what you would have run in a 1/4 given an 1/8th mile time. Use the 1.55 multiplier if your car MPH's pretty decent for your ET and 1.58 if your MPH is just average or below average. Generally your MPH is high for a given ET if you're running street tires or have wheelspin issues off the line. Not exact but it works pretty good for about 10 of the cars I've had over the years.

wow that sucks .who makes these rules. cant help that all i have near me is 1/8 mile have to drive 2 1/2 hours to just get to a 1/4 mile track.it iis funny how some people have so many rules for an internet club maybe they need some new moderators or they need to vote on what the rules should be. instead of a group of 5 to 10 guys thinking what is best for them

It is an 11 second club. Show us a time slip from the 1/8th with 11 seconds on it... lol.
But for real, your car has to run 11's in order to be in the 11 second club. And the only way to run 11's is by going to a 1/4 mile track and running 11's. Not by using calculations. Sorry that you don't have a 1/4 mile track around you. So much can happen after the 1/8th mile. Your car might be a dog up top.

I'm the great offender here. I posted up over in the 12 second club forum just to let everyone know how my car was running and to get some feedback from some 1/4 milers that are running times similar to mine. If you check, I never asked to be included in that "club". As a matter of fact, I just PM'd Coach telling him that it'd probably be better for all concerned if he rescended my status at this point. I've been drag racing longer than about half the members on this board have been alive so waiting a couple more months to go to a 1/4 mile track for proof certainly isn't going to kill me. I sincerely hope I didn't offend anyone by posting up that thread or here either. However, I do have a lot of drag racing experience dating back to the 70's so I chime in whenever I feel I have something to add. Once again, I'm sorry I offended anyone so please don't take anything I say/said personal.
