Made it into the 11s! Run #1: 12.008 @ 112.48 with a 1.695 60ft.
I was so mad that I was so close on my first run and didn't succeed. I hot lapped it and was lining up when Bret Kepner stopped me. He made sure I was in the grooves (which I was) and told me to try launching the car a little differently. Well, I followed his advice. I pre-staged, edged till I was staged, but just barely and threw the RPMs up to about 1650. Launched! I look at the board: 1.655 60ft! I knew that run would be an 11...
Run #2: 11.971 @ 112.45 with a 1.655 60ft!
When I got the slip, I almost jumped out of the car right there.
I ran one more time to back it up...
Run #3: 11.99 @ 112.18 with a 1.66 60ft.
