Default im in! n2o assisted...

got 5 spray runs in at atco last night. temperature ranging from low 50's to high 30's at night. i ALMOST missed the 11's alltogether but not quite.
* i don't spray right out of the hole and not through the shifts.

best run of the night as follows-
60= 1.672
330= 4.626
1/8= 7.129
mph= 96.67
1000= 9.313
1/4= 11.155
mph= 122.48

that was the last run i got in, the other runs of the night were ALL low 11.2's and one other 11.17- all @ 122mph.

demonicbird00 was there as a witness, also ALOT of other f-bodies were there including 2 guys who owned v6's (one of the guys is the only person with one in the 12's i believe).

the runs were done on a tnt 150 shot, 950-1000psi bottle pressure. im running pumpgas, stock timing map and stock fuel map with 3% taken out- so it still has a little more in it when i can afford/have time to get it on a dyno. it is nice and fat right now according to the 02's and zero knock.

FULL modification list as follows- even the dumb ****!

- ! rear seats, front swaybar
- pacesetter lt's/ory/cutout
- lid, custom ram-air (cut scoops in hood latch platform)
- egr mod, 160 thermostat, fan switch, battery relocated to spare tire well
- shift kit, cooler, 3800 2.5str stall, window-welded stock trans mount
- stock sized (255/50/16) mickey thompson tires on back, stock wheels all around
- tnt f1 with accesories, msd digi. window switch, racetronix fuel pump.
- adj. panhard bar, weld in sfc's.
- HP tuners tuned by myself- both n/a and nitrous .bin's.

the plan for this year is get ls6 intake, maybe crank pulley, get rid of some weight, and put on a short belt when at the track. im looking for 10.90's this year- and 11.90's on the motor. WITH the 2.73's- i refuse to change them out. GM MUSCLE is proof that it can and will be done

thanks for reading, update my user status please

Great times, with your future mods you should see 10's with no problem.

those guys are cool. i had NOBODY to talk to at the beginning when we were waiting to run (didn't open the track yet- still vht'ing it or whatever) so i went up to the fellow f-body guys and started bullshitting with them. then i realized it was a v6 with mickey thompson drag radials and i pretty much knew who i was talking to.

sooooooo- title change please?

Nice runs, the V6 in the 12's you're talking about is a canoe with wheels and a 100 shot - there are a bunch of other V6's in the 12's with more respectable and more solid setups

james ran the low 12s liek2 yrs ago. hes been working on 13s na which he got, then trying to go for the record in the 11s. and craig has i think the ONLY N/A SI v6 in the 13s. And 13.5s at that they are no different then us LS1 guys doing the same thing to get those records. Everything comes down to HP/lbs ratio.

just got rid of the front bumper support and windshield fluid resevior (~ 25 lbs). im debating on pulling out the a/c system. i want to but i don't want to. i may just get the a/c fixed on my daily beater car and then yank it. so there is another 30lbs (whole a/c system). then the pass. seat is about 30lbs and that is getting taken out next time i run it. probably ditch egr/air too so maybe another 10-20lbs off right there.

thing that sucks though is i have to add a 4-point to be able to run it now so that'll add weight and basically negate the weight reduction im doing now. im guessing the 4-point weighs like 60 lbs or so?

got the short belt today also

a/c compressor and lines, bumper support, windshield washer resevior (which was FULL ) are all out now. only things left are to locate a ls6 manifold and put it on, put the short belt on, pull the pass. seat and try it again to see if i can't get any better. im also going to stick it on a dyno and get the a/f flat soon- when i get time. im also going to get a chromoly rollbar installed sometime soon. so yeah, i have alot of work to do in the near future

i also need to get my 2nd to 3rd gear shift figured out with the window switch. it sprays twice in 2nd gear (the window switch shuts the nitrous off, the rpms drop and then it hits again, shuts off and then shifts- all in the matter of about 1.5 seconds). i think when i get that figured out my mph will go up a little bit, maybe gain et. a little bit also.

it is a tnt kit, duel fogger wet. 150hp rated at the wheels-

also thanks for the compliments - but like normal im still not satisfied

Nice job and welcome. I ran the same MPH N/A but my best time last year was only a 11.49. Suspension upgrades should get me closer to the 10's as well.
