Even foot braking my car went .3 faster leaving on the n20 right off the bat vs. waiting to get out 15-20 feet.
Dont know about that....when i had my stock tranny and stock stall...i was only foot braking 1100 cause at 1200 the tires started to spin...even on BFG DR's.

Just as a point of reference, I was running 11.30s at that trap with mid 1.5X 60's...I agree that 1.8-1.9 should get you an 11 second run...

I was running 11.7x with a 1.7x short time with a stock converter. I run a dry shot so I sprayed off the line and my trap was 116. Same setup, but with a vig3600= 11.43 with a 1.7x 60' spinning trapping 117. Both examples above were on 17'' MT ET Street Radials on a 125 hp. Put 28-11.50 ET Streets= 11.36 with a 1.6x 60' still spinning but on a 150 shot trapping at 119.9.

It sure will be nice to add an ET that matches the MPH to this car. Previously I have done bracket racing, and roll racing on spray, and have surprised quite a few 11 second cars.

Thanks everyone.

wondering if you or anyone can give helpful info. on how to get my car into the 7's in the 1\8 mile, and 11's in the 1\4 mile. I have a 2000 ws6 it has a procharger D1SC, 60lbs injectors, hot wire fuel kit, MSD wires and plugs, racetronix fuel pump, panhard bar, subframe connectors, drive shaft saftey loop, torque arm. The car dynoed at 500RWHP and 465RWTQ. The internals on the engine are stock and also the rear end is stock. I ran a SLOW 8.30 in the 1\8 mile with a 2.01 60FT time. With this power to the wheels i expected a 7 second car in the 1\8 mile. Do u have any helpful info.! PLEASE

Footbrake it off the line. A member on this board had problems getting into the 11s with the procharger also(kept on hitting low 12s) until I told him to footbrake it instead of flashing it , he hit 11.7 @ 123.

Depends on gearing, with 2.73s you can do that but not with shorter gears, the car is gonna want to push forward on you.

i saw your video clip of your car making a 1\4 mile run. 12.26 is impressive with those few mods u had! So your car launches hard with that 3800 stall converter. How much did that cost and also is your rear end stock?

I got the SS3800 when it first came out so it was 950 at the time, now it runs for 650-750. Yes the rear end is still stock.

The vid was 12.27 @ 109 at Raceway park in New Jersey, I backed it up the following weekend at Atco Raceway, also in Jersey, with a 12.26 @ 111.7

Why so low? Depending on gear and how good the brakes and sticky the tires are, you can footbrake it higher than that, try 3200. I used to footbrake mines at 3500.

He doesnt have 2.73's i doubt that he is gonna stall 3500 without a trans brake....with my 3.73's and 3400 stall on Mickey thompsons i could only get ~2600

every car is different..1 did a 1.60 60ft & ran 12.06@110.64...I have a nice launch but not enough power(335rwhp) to get me to a 11..I am putting the off-road y-pipe on to see if I can get the 1/2 sec.
