My idea, get a better rear end so you can leave harder since you already have enough power to run 11's as is, then you don't have to worry about it breaking since it will happen sooner than later anyways.
It's easy to add power, either way, you'll not be able to leave hard which will kill your ET or you'll kill the rear end and end up buying a new one anyways, why not get one now before you break or hurt anything else from a broken axle or breaking ring gears?

never thought about that to be honest... ill look into it. As for the buy with the bacl truck. I dont see how your frends with headers and a home tune are running 11's.

I agree. Look at my sig. I'm getting a better 60' with less power, less gear and less converter. I have no suspension mods and run M/T street radials in the back.
Either he's spinning or his converter is not working properly. There is no reason why he shouldn't be pulling better 60's and better ET's with his setup.

You're SS3600 is right in line performance wise with my TCI 3500. With your gears and extra rwhp you should get better 60's then me and all ready be in the 11's.
What tires are you using and what psi do you run them?

All you have to do is take a really big poop before you get out there haha But anyways I think with a FAST set up over a LS1 intake you should see some good power gains and ET gains.

hoosier cheater slicks, at like 20 psi... I remember when i went from street tires to these tires when i was stock i lost about .13 in the 60 foot alone, but id never ever spin, and thats why i have them. There a bit taller so maybe that has to do with it. Also when i switched the tires when i was stock, i lost like 3 tenths but picked up over a mph. Again i only did this because i never haddto worry about spinning, and i was racing in eliminations every friday night.
