Default How many of you are on 10 bolts?

Who are the really crazy bastards in here running the stock 10 bolts still? I would like to know mods, times, 60fts, m6 or auto, Stall size, rwhp, and number of passes on 10 bolt. IF you are one of the lucky ones that have made their 10 bolts last.....how do you launch?

Everybody has heard so many stories about how it seems that the 10 bolts sometimes do well for a while and even more stories on how trashy they are...show em....I'd like to see some proof haha. Crazyness!

headers/gear, 7.80 1/8th, 1.7 60',m6, 325hp, 10 passes

On street tires I launch @ 2grand side step, let out, get immed. back in on 20-24psi

On drag radials I launch @ 3 side step (1.8), @4 (1.7) on 14-16 psi

The most important thing when you side step @ 4 grand is to cringe and hold it to the floor..yea my 10 is coming out soon..lol

413 rwhp, M6 on stock clutch, stock rear. Low 1.8 60' times feathering the clutch will get me a high 11 second pass at 118-119 mph assuming i don't miss a shift.

4K Yank with MS3 and ETP heads making cose to 400rwhp and bone stock 3.23 rear with at least 50 passes and I launch it hard. 1.63 60' is my best and several other 1.6s I've even flashed it off idle and it has dead hooked before.

3600 stall, 3.73s, 420 rwhp, MT radials, flash the converter from about 1500 RPMs. I've cut a best 60' of 1.51 a couple times on my current set up.

I am still running the 10bolt but with 3.42 gears and TA performance cover and have made over 500rwhp. I have raced at the track a couple of times and have managed a 1.8 60ft on street tires, but i have run ET slicks with 15psi in the tires. Parts in sig say the rest. Oh and I usually brake stall it to 2200rpms.

I went 1.81 on my bone stock 3.42 geared rear end. M6 with 395rwhp. I usually just launch like a bitch and get 2.0s though.

00 Camaro Z28 M-6, H/C/I/E, SPEC 3 with fidanza alum flywheel

11.80@119 with 1.82 60' on 10bolt with 3.73 and MAC girdle, Weld prostars with Hoosier 27x11.5/15 QTPs

433/383 rwhp/tq

I'm made quite few passes on her over the years. A lot of side stepping but here lately I've been letting the clutch out easy at 4K and have gotten a best of a 1.82 60'. I know I can get better ETs but I would be putting my rear in much more danger. I don't have the dough for a 9".......
