I consider stock as how the car came from the factory. A few things like air filter, plugs, wires, whatever. None of those really help with performance, just basically maintenance items.

And a gutted car isn't stock. No AC, no PS, no rear seats, etc isn't stock. There are several other ways people compare the cars, like "stock bottom end" or "stock long block" etc.

BTW - why the hell do you have a gutted car that can not be comfortably daily driven, and only run 13s? Usually you mod it, then gut it.

Just mod it, then you don't have to say it's stock.

My car (01 WS6) went 13.3 @ 104, with a K&N filter and swaybar and spare/jack removed. It was 84 degrees, around 2200' DA. Though I did use the light weight driver mod (120 lbs).

Going back wednesday. The HIGH is 61 degrees, which is ten degrees lower than the LOW temp my last time out... Should I air down a lil bit to make up for the weather changes?

I'm excited for this one

well, shitty night for the track, only got 2 passes in, but the weather was AWESOME. Anyway, I ran a 12.38@109.48 with a 1.73 60 foot. Same thing though, it hooked for a second, spun the tires for a half second, then was hooked.... Launched at 2,000 rpm

When you've launched at a higher RPM, did you have anyone watching to make sure the tires weren't turning over? The way you said it hazed the tires then took off almost makes me wonder if the tires were turning over slowly before you launched. My car responds best to me holding as much RPM as possible against the brakes. (generally 2500-2600) I usually do my burn out, roll ino the 1st beam, put it in park and pump the brake pedal until it gets hard as a rock, then I edge the car into the 2nd beam and hold my RPM's up. I went from launching around 1500-1800 and barely doing 1.7's - instantly dropped mid to low 1.5 60's. I have my shocks on 5 in the rear, and full loose up front, tires at 16 psi. I only got 3 passes that day, but as I made adjustments - the car went faster. I still have yet to run in good air, the DA was over 2000 last time I raced.
