Default 12s last year

Hey everybody, I finally got a chance to post this up. Last year was my first year at the track with my 2000 WS6 M6. At first I wasn't to sure what I was doing and what I could do to improve. Well after racing a few different times and reading up more, I improved. When I first raced, I had long tube headers, ORY and SLP loudmouth and a slp lid and SSRA. My best run then was 13.7 at 105. I, like everyone else here, wanted to go faster. I started buying parts for a cam/ intake and throttle body. I got all that installed with the help from Gino (thanks again Gino), who also did all of my tuning. I ran a 12.8 at 109 at BIR in Minnesota. Here are some vids, the first one is without the cam/intake, the second one is the good runs.

Now the car is tuned for WOT and I also have a few little things I am going to do to it this year so I should have a better time.

somethin dont seem right...did you hook up on the 13.7 run ? with headers, exhaust, and intake you should be running high 12's with a cam you should be in the 11s..

+1 ! You should be at least low 12's . Congrats on the improvement though . Your 60 ft probably needs to be improved . Your probably in the 2.2 -2.1 range now , right ?

On the 13.7 run I was on street tires and was spinning a lot. I did a dyno run before I put the cam in for a baseline and it was 309/305 running really lean. The 12.8 runs I was using MT street radials but still not tuned for WOT, It spun still, but not nearly as bad.

The 60' for 13.7 was 2.15 at the best.

The 60' for 12.8 was 1.98.

With your mods you should be real low 12s to high 11s.

Where are you running? Elevation should have something to do with it.

Brainerd International Raceway in MN. I know the St. Cloud airport is about 1030 ft. so it shoulnt be too much more then that if any.

I would love to get an S60, but the problem is cash, not enough to devote to a rear end right now. Spent a lot on the cam/intake swap. lol

So I have decided to get a rear end next, or at least start saving for one. How much time is gained or lost when going to 4.10 or 4.11 gears?
