Default First 12.xx pass

I made one trip to the track last year and got to make 5 passes not a bad test day. First pass was a 13.05 @ 105mph. It was pretty consistent for the next three passes. Then we hooked up the nitrous and I could only spray second and third gear because the street tires were barely hookin to begin with. On N20 it ran 12.77 @ 108.95mph. Any ideas what it would pickup with slicks and spraying off the line. I would like to hit a 110mph. The 60' on street tires was 1.92

The setup is a 70 chevelle with a 355 sbc made 385hp at the crank NA, the N20 is a 100hp plate system. It has a built 350 trans. Stock rear suspension with 4.11 gears.

Just looking for some input, Thanks

I dont see 110 mph being a problem for you . I dont see why you only picked up .3 tenths and 3 mph with the NO2 . Even if you only sprayed in 2nd and 3rd . That should be 2/3's of the track with 4;11's . A 1.92 60ft is not horrible for that big car with stock suspension .You probably only have @ 340 hp at the crank . A better tire would probably help your 60 ft a couple of tenths . .2 tenths off your 60 ft should net @ .4 tenths off your 1/4 mile. Good luck !

not even close, he probably has just under 300 at the wheels... what size stall are you running? im building a 357 with vortecs and 230/236 comp cam, expecting 400 at the crank and running a th350 in a 2nd gen camaro

id be happy with 13.0 thats a fast street car... with slicks and spraying off the line id say 12.2-12.4 @ 110-114

Losing over 85+ hp at wheels ?? That seems a little high . I figure 40 - 60 hp . I could be wrong , it wouldnt be the 1st time .My full street trim 1982 Z28 with a 350, crappy stock 87 vette tuned port heads , XS282 Comp cam ,3000 stall and 4;10's went 12.5 @ 108 mph . I figured @ 375HP at the crank . Either way 13.0 is a very quick street car for an older ride . Good luck to both of you .

are you like the "fasteddie" or no? just wondering

i def think hell lose that much... t56+ 10 bolts lose roughly 15-17% to the wheels, hes got a stalled auto and either an 8.5 10 bolt or 12 bolt (im pretty sure 12 bolt) so hes losing between 20-30%

I have a 3300 stall and its a 12 bolt rearend. It's finally starting to warm up a little over here so I'll hit the track in a couple months and find out for sure what it will run. If its 12.5 or better with at least a 110mph trap I will be for sure.
