12.42@108.45 Converter Only
My 99 SS went from 12.79 to 12.42 with just a converter change. The car is 100% stock other than a converter and tuning by Frost. This was on sticky tires though.

This was full weight (nothing removed) with steel wheels, stock exhaust, stock paper air filter and stock 3.23 gears. The car was pretty fast from the start. It ran 13 teens with radials. Weather was good but not the best.

I had it tuned by Frost. Sorry for the confusion. I hate it when guys do that stuff and I did it.

My car did 12.6 with just mods in sig (stock stall) but da was in the minus. I plan on a ss3600 and im hoping to drop more than .4 for sure.

They seem to have best rep as far as iv seen. What I like is they are closer to the advertised stall speed than the rest so you know more of what to expect. Why would someone wanna buy a stall with an actual stall speed higher than advertised?
Also they seem to be very efficient which is a huge plus.
Only reason I can see anyone bashing on yank converters is if they started out with a X brand 3600 stall, then went to a yank 3600 which gave them a worse 60' just because X brand wasnt really a 3600 stall and more like a 4000.
From all the research its a no brainer that Yank sounds like the over all best.
