Wow that's great! You need to lose those manifolds though. That's an easy 11 second car!

My sons Formula went 12.02 on manifolds and untouched motor in his signature below. I have 5 other cars that have headers and wanted a quiet one. I'm sure it would pick up a ton. We bracket race and have a 12.00 limit in Sportsman.

I have other cars that are faster and I already owned the cam. Kind of on a budget, as far as labor my oldest son is a GM tech so it really only cost me some gaskets and a pizza! A larger cam would make me too fast, we bracket race and I can't dial faster than a 12.00. If I do things to make me high 11's I can live with that and easily slow it down for the class plus it'll lose 3-6 tenths thru the hot summer months anyway. Thanks!

NEWEST UPDATE:

A few weeks ago I 1) gutted the cats, and 2) added a Firehawk hood for the cold RamAir, with no other changes the car went 12.33@110 with my heavy ***, and 12.15@112 with my feather weight son.

Today I went back with the colder DA and had some new bests with me (my son was not able to make it). 12.11@112.99 and all my 60's were down 1-2 full tenths from spinning every round cause of the cold ground. Still got a few weeks to try and get that 11.99 I'm looking for before they close here in St.Louis. It did pick up 2/10ths from the cold air.

Damn. Nice times. I currently got my 02 nhra formula down to a 12.8 @ 110. Car has 275/40/18 on it and I'm a big guy. Stock clutch. Rear wheel hops bad on that run and the 60 ft wasent great. I have a good clutch getting ready to go in it and gonna throw some tires and possibly some suspension goodies under the rear. I'm hopein to be down closer to the 12.0 area shortly

Another new Best:

Put my son back in the car, no changes except cooler air and a great DA.

11.930@113.64mph and a 1.688/60ft. 1/8th mile was 7.60@91mph

Still on Stock Intake manifold, Exhaust manifolds, Factory T/A exhaust, 3.23 gears. Full Interior & Full weight!

was tuned on the street, not on a Dyno yet. I would guess on the high side maybe 330-340 tops. one of our other cars is stock motor with Macs mid headers, 2800 stall and 3.73's and made 294 HP and runs 12.28

If I get on a dyno I will post some numbers up, heres yet another one of our Formulas on the dyno, H/C car runs 11.0's@120mph
