12 sec turbo t/a aww yea!! 1st time at the track since the turbo. I could not launch the car due to a weak factory clutch on drag radials. Best 60ft was a 2.2. Best mph was 116. best time was 12.6 Im still happy with it....should be an 11 sec car as it sits once the trans and clutch get here from Texas drivetrain and I can actually launch this thing off the two step. I wasnt really even seeing hardly any boost untill top of 2nd gear (6 speed).
98 t/a stock longblock including intake.
60lb dekas
sts 60mm turbo kit intercooled at 7-8 psi meth injected
lcas and panhard
full weight car
Slowest turbo car out there!!
ps... best mph was at 17 degrees of timing.....bumped it to 19 and et stayed at 116 so i bumped it back down.

havent dynoed it yet. with the power/et calcs out there im coming up with about 450 whp. Sounds about right for the mods. I was running about 11.2 on the afr so i know there is more to gain there. a single 14# jet on my devils own kit drops my afr almost a full point with HEET.

Roger that! Once the trannys back and Ive got some good valve springs ill max my setup at about 12 lbs. should be good for a mid 11 sec, full weight,stock heads/cam, gear smashing good time. that was my original goal.

thats good numbers for what you have. I have your exact set up on my 2000 TA. But i put in a Th400 with a trans brake instead for better et. what turbo do you have on the car I know you said its a 60mm. whats your turbine housing ? wheel size?
Do you have heat tape wrapped all the back on the hot side? an what rear gear are you running?

Stock 3.42s exhaust is wrapped...off road y pipe. I will see if i can dig up the specs on the old turbo. Im running a 78/78 now.... no new track times.
